Gavin Hall - District 14

Father to three awesome kiddos and a Realtor based out of Charlottetown. Gavin Hall lives and works in District 14 and loves it. An Islander by choice, Gavin has embraced Island life since moving to PEI from Lunenburg, Nova Scotia in 2004 and is an active member of the community.

Gavin says: "I was drawn to the Green Party of PEI because of its inclusive nature and the desire to change the way politics are done. The people of PEI deserve better from their government. We need an honest government that understands the needs of all islanders and works for our future generations along with the most vulnerable in our society. A government that collaborates and listens to the people while making the changes and investments necessary to make the island truly sustainable both fiscally and environmentally."

Gavin looks optimistically to the future knowing that PEI has an opportunity to expand its green energy using new technologies and work towards energy sufficiency while helping to alleviate the burden of high energy costs for all islanders. The government needs to work with fishermen and farmers to protect our lands and waters to ensure their industries remain sustainable into the future. Smart investments and changes need to be made to our health and education systems to give our children more opportunities while reducing wait times for all islanders along with supporting those who care for their loved ones at home.

Positive changes can be made to our political system to ensure we have a brighter future for everyone.

Gavin is a Graduate of Holland College’s Tourism and Travel Management program as well as Plumbing. He studied History and Political Studies at the University of Prince Edward Island.
