Members of District 12 (Charlottetown-Victoria Park) and District 13 (Charlottetown-Brighton) are invited to attend a meeting on Thursday, December 2, 2021, from 7:30 to 8:30 P.M., to discuss and vote on the motion made during the D12 Electoral District Association Annual General Meeting: that the D12 EDA unite with District 13 (which has no EDA) to form a Regional Association (RA).
Districts 12 and 13 are a natural fit, sharing a common border with Brighton Road, Euston Street and lower University Avenue.
Local issues in the greater area of downtown Charlottetown — the province’s capital city — are not necessarily always reflected in decisions made by the Government, which are often intended to benefit the province as a whole. A D12-D13 Regional Association would provide a unified voice for its members and supporters to communicate the districtsʼ suggestions and concerns to our MLAs.

Should members agree to support the motion to form a Regional Association, candidates will be sought for the four Coordinating Team roles. An election will be held that evening to fill positions. Members in good standing only are eligible to vote.
