District 12 EDA held their AGM earlier this month, electing a new executive!

It’s hard to believe summer is nearly over! BUT when you have had as busy of a summer as the Greens across the Island have, it's easy to see why. Over the past month, Districts 21 & 23 formed a Regional Association, the District 12 EDA had their AGM, and the Young Greens of PEI (YGP) held their first Executive Election, just to name a few! There are still a couple of weeks left of the August heat, meaning there are still plenty of opportunities to get outside, enjoy the sun, and attend some Green Party events!

In this newsletter:

  • Office of the Opposition
  • Volunteer opportunities
  • Upcoming events

The Green Caucus has been busy over the past month attending community events, committee meetings, meeting with constituents and hosting social events.

Stephen Howard, MLA and Opposition Shadow Critic for Transportation, Infrastructure and Energy presented to the IRAC hearing on the application by Maritime Electric to raise electricity costs. Read more here.

Upcoming MLA events (more details further down):
