John lives in Murray Harbour where he is a commercial beekeeper, producing honey and locally-bred queen bees.  He is the president of the PEI Beekeepers Association and likes to get away to reconnect with Nature by heading out to remote camping spots whenever possible.  John is especially concerned with climate change issues and is drawn to the Green Party for its understanding of the scientific limits to growth set by the carrying capacity of the planet.  He is especially concerned about the increasing effects of climate change and what we can do to bring carbon levels in the atmospehere back to safe levels.
